If you are thinking about backpacking central or south America or if you just want to know what it’s like then you’ve come to the right place.
We are a Moroccan couple backpacking the gringo trail between April 2014 and March 2015. That is, we will go through Mexico, Guatemala, El Salvador, Nicaragua, Costa Rica, Panama, Columbia, Curacao, Ecuador, Peru, Bolivia, Argentina and Brazil.
In this blog, we will put all the necessary information required for a backpacker to visit the spots we are visiting. We will describe in a structured and detailed manner the places we see and activities we do, with prices, photos, videos and tips.
Of course, it will only have the hotels, restaurants and activities we have chosen. We however pick things very careful through cross checks between the lonely planet, trip advisor and peer advice (while keeping average daily spend between 35 and 45 dollars a person) so the pick shouldn’t be too bad.
Please feel free to leave comments and constructive feedback.
I hope this blog will help you on your trip or inspire you to hit the road. The world is beautiful, don’t miss it.
As our trip ended, I decided to write a book inspired by this beautiful adventure. You can find it on the novel post if interested.
